Nice build! I put together my own FAL from an STG58 parts kit and an Entreprise metric receiver many years ago. I never got around to refinishing it, which is what I'd like to do next. My build wasn't as extensive as yours however. Fortunately, my barrel timed correctly on the first go, and the only thing I had to do was set the headspace. It shoots fine as is but is butt ugly.

That looks like a nice build.

Now, you need some Duracoat in FAL Black and it will look like new.

whay did you opt for the compensator as opposed to a flash hider? Preference? Or didnt wanna mess w. it?

He probably built it during the AWB, so he probably couldn't put a flash hider on it.

my bad I was under the impression it was a recent (fairly anyway) build
