Fair market value for a Russian SKS?

Postby Waldo1 » Fri Aug 19, 2011 10:57 am

I've got a Russian SKS that I have not shot in probably 7-8 years. She just lingers in the back of the safe, getting jostled by the others and I'm thinking of taking her to the Orlando show this weekend. In beautiful shape, unsharpened blade bayonet (are these hard-chromed too?) an arsenal refurb that shoots great. I believe that she is a Tula SKS, with only a small star on the side of the receiver and some Cyrillic characters. Nothing marked on the top-cover. All serial numbers appear to match except for the gas tube and the magazine. What would be a fair price to ask and what would be your bottom acceptable offer?

Thanks,

Waldo1
If your not back in 3 weeks, we're dividing up your gear. It sucks, but thats the way it works around here.

I'd be asking $400-$450 and probably take the first $350-$400 offer i got.
