CTD's H&K .308 G3 Aluminum Mags

Postby Trigger_Puller » Thu Dec 16, 2010 5:36 pm

I ordered a dozen of Cheaper Than Dirt's H&K .308 G3 aluminum mags for $0.97 ea figuring what could I lose except for $12 plus shipping. When they arrived the other day, Iwas very pleasantly surprised. Out of the 12, only 3 showed signs of real use. After a good cleaning, they looked like new.

So if your looking for G3 mags, these are a helluva deal.

You may also want to add a few boxes of American Eagle .308 Full Metal Jacket Boat Tail 150 Grain ammo for $14.19 ea. which are also a pretty good deal.

I have over 155 of them. No idea why.

The REAL deal they have right now is the steel mags. $1.97 each. They go for $5 and up pretty much every where else.

some times there is just too much work that has to go into those steel mags, filing the stops to make those fit in a CETME, the AL ones are so much easier to work with :ber

I picked up 40 of the aluminum mags back a year or so ago. They looked brand new and most were a good deal older than me. [smilie=011.gif]

Only downside is filling the mags quickly approaches the cost of the rifle and mags . . . D'oh!

Last night I ordered 5 aluminum and 5 steel mags, a sling and the NATO battle pack of ammo.
This is my first order from CTD so hopefully everything will show up soon.

One of the magazines were extremely rusty so I will be returning it.
Otherwise...some of the aluminum mags looked brand new...the others were in very good condition.
Hopefully they will exchange it without a problem.
Update...CTD was great about replacing the rusty one with zero problems.
Darn good deal, =D>
