CMP Sales News 23 January 2012

Postby jmikeb653 » Tue Jan 24, 2012 11:04 pm

UPDATE ON .22CAL SIGHTS: CMP has completed inspection and packaging of the few hundred sights and hand stops we have accumulated for the .22 cal rifles we have sold over the past 15 years. The available items will be listed on the CMP website and on estore https://estore.odcmp.com/store/catalog/ ... st&cat=PAS at approximately 7:00 AM Central time on Wed, 25 Jan 2012. A small quantity of each item has been reserved for our stores in Camp Perry and Anniston, with the bulk of the inventory reserved for the estore. Sale of these items will be restricted to previous purchasers of CMP .22 cal rifles and a sales limit of one sight set per customer will be in place for the first month. If any sights remain unsold after the first month, the limits will be lifted. We do expect most of these sights to sell out in the first few days.

GARANDS FROM KOREA: Once again our phone lines and email boxes are flooded with requests for information on the purchase of M1 Garands from Korea. The Korea Times reported last week that the U.S. Government had approved Korea's request to sell 86,000 M1 Garands to U.S. importers. CMP is not a firearms importer and if these rifles are sold to U.S. importers, they will not come to the CMP or be sold by the CMP. We will not have any information on the sale of these rifles.

Thank you for your continued support.

I got 1 s100. I think they are only letting you order 1 front and 1 back total, and you must have bought a .22 rifle from them in the past.

Ohh and just checked there is still S100s and the site is running a lot faster now.
