24 out of 33 correctly — 72.73 %

but then again, I only went to highschool in the states for a year...college didn't teach any of that and the citizenship test was just an exercise in test taking. predefined test questions, only a small portion actually required to be tested and the actual test given at the whim of the INS official. She told me to stop after listing seven of the first 13 states, "good enough".

Oops, the only one I missed was the one about the first amendment! How embarrassing, as it was one of the most important.

However, I don't agree with the answer about free markets vis a vis centrally controlled economies. I got it right, as the others were more wrong, but that is not the answer an economist would give. So, it had me scratching my head for awhile. Also, the question on Plato, Socrates and Aquinus is rather odd in a civics test--good citizens do not need to know the entire history of political thought to be good citizens.

Got them all correct, but on 3 of them I had to go into the "Stupid test Writer" mental mode.

BTW betcha didn't know that Vanguard was the first man-made satellite. But Sputnik was the first one orbited because the idiots in power decided that NRL would use a completely new, not possibly military launch system that was difficult to develop.

Did it too quickly and made stupid mistakes. I found it disheartning that the average scores for the test were not a lot higher. So much for mandatory public education.

Shouldn't have gotten the other two wrong, though.
