Even though I've known about this for over 3 months....and bought 30 then...you talked me into it and I just bought 100 more with 10 mag pouches that are also $.99 each.

I figure, there's no way in hell they'll ever be worth less than a dollar...and they'll most likely get up over $5 a mag in the next 10 years...so what the heck.

If I wasn't broke I'd probably buy 500 a month until they were gone. It would be my mini 401k. :)

I would be all for it but my last G3 mags purchase was for 300 mags (and they threw some in extra too). I got a feeling I'm sitting good in the G3 mags department.
ETA: Those were $1/each also (with free shipping).

Free shipping?

How the hell did you get that? I hate you.

Mine was $26 with a few 1911 mags and some grips thrown in the mix.

Yeah..I've used him for parts in the past.

Heck, he wants $8 for new in wrap mags, $4 for average mags, and about 90 cents for beat up mags.

CTD mags are 'mostly' new mags, new in the wrapper.

Man...I hope they get to $8 a mag soon! I'll be able to buy another gun with all my profits! Maybe I really should buy 500 a month. :-k

Here's a funny thought: Since the AK 47 is by far the most widely produced weapon ever...why aren't the AK mags $1 a piece? Even $5 each seems fair. I have a hard time finding them for less than $12 each....but it seems that the market should be absolutely flooded with them.

Demand. Assuming supply of AK mags and G3 mags are equal. There are a whole lot more people in the US with AK's than G3's.

Yeah...it just seems that since the AK's are made...everywhere...there'd be more supply of the mags. Maybe one of you geniuses needs to figure out how to build AK mags and have a mag build party?

That's pretty bad-ass.

Ya know...I have a friend who imports plastic stuff from a bunch of different overseas plants, and he can make just about anything I give him a schematic for. Hmmmmmm.... Maybe re-design the original a bit, so as not to infringe on the copyright. :-k

The patent number in the drawing isn't a valid US patent number, so your in the clear!

Had to go ahead and order 100.

Seems a lot of people that left comments got a good majority of them new in the wrapper.

Just hope these are legit and not knockoffs.

They're legit. Real deal...say HK g3 on the with the proper date codes.

The last 100 I ordered probably 70 of them were new...all 100 of them were in a wrapper.

Out of 100 I got 0 new in wrapper. Most look like they were never even slid in a gun. about 5 were dented up and looked heavily used, none had rust, all springs work well.

Just picked up my first Cetme yesterday and ordered some (50) of these today. We'll see how they work. I haven't ordered from CTD in well over a year because they haven't been cheaper than anything. Maybe they've changed their ways [smilie=011.gif]

CTD mags are 97 cents now...so that's good.

PLUS...their steel mags are $2.97 now...which is a great deal also.

Well none of mine where "new" but most look pretty good. Every one of them is coated in dirt. I'm going to clean them up now. A little bit of surface rust on a few but nothing that wont rub off with some BreakFree.
I was only able to snap 18 of the 50 into my CETME easily. All the others seem to fit if I slap them in there. Any suggestions on how to fit them?

I also ordered a few of the <$1 ruberized canvas pouches for them and they sent me the more expensive rubber ones for the same price. [smilie=pdt_xtremez_30.gif]
