I'm sorry you had to endure this and am disgusted at this particular deputies actions. I hope that you seek recourse in civil court as well as file a formal complaint with the Sheriff. This is inexcusable. Oh and from the description of your area and your house, I'm jealous.

Next time just hang a sign on your front door that says 10-zero (which means armed and or caution in hillsborough county) and go to bed. Then maybe you will get to meet the SWAT team they send in after there "barracated suspect" [smilie=011.gif]

No! I believe its 10-zero! I know for a FACT, Tampa Police uses 10-zero for armed and or caution. I dont know why HCSO would be differant, but who knows?

Hillsborough uses Signal 1 for armed/caution, and state standard ten codes.

Tampa city PD does in fact use 10-0 for armed/caution

seek damages, this is worth a some tens of thousands of dollars (from what ive read in the past). its impossible to make an arrest disappear, afterall.

the only way cities and counties learn is when their precious tax dollars go to pay out claims.
